2005 Recycler of the Year Award

At their January 21st, 2006 meeting, Keep Northeast Nebraska Beautiful announced the 2005 Recycler of the Year Award went to the Lower Elkhorn NRD of Norfolk.

Each year this award is presented to an individual and/or a group that has contributed significantly to the recycling efforts in Northeast Nebraska.  The award winners have their names permanently inscribed on a plaque which hangs in South Sioux City Council Chambers, the Keep Northeast Nebraska Beautiful (KNNB) meeting room.

KNNB congratulates Lower Elkhorn NRD and thanks them for their tireless effort to Keep Northeast Nebraska Beautiful through wise solid waste management practices and helping small communities with their community cleanups.

KNNB congratulates Bernie Gill of Gill Hauling and thanks him for his tireless effort to Keep Northeast Nebraska Beautiful through wise solid waste management practices and helping small communities with their community cleanups.
