2. Review and Approve Accounts Payable and Payroll Claims – Board
reviews claims prior to approving them.
3. Recess for Lunch
4. Reconvene from Lunch
5. Open gravel Bids – 1:30 p.m. Normally the County gets bids from
several different bidders and they bid different types of gravel; therefore, all
bids are accepted.
6. Jail Project - Nothing specific is scheduled to be acted on under
this item as of 3-17
7. Highway Supt. and Planning & Zoning.
8. Homer Bridge Project BRO-7022(11) - Last week a Change Order was
submitted to the board to move the intersection of Wigle Creek Road and Omaha
Avenue 90’ to the South at a cost of approximately $11,500. Action was not
taken because the board thought the Engineer should stand the cost, but wanted
to discuss the situation after meeting State Department of Roads at the bridge
3-18.
Discussion of meeting with LeRoy Juengel. March 18, 2005
Proceed with Condemnation
- Custodial Services/Jail Administrator – presently the
Building & Grounds Supt. reports directly to the County Board of
Commissioners. In the board’s last meeting, they discussed whether that
person should report to someone else and action one way or the other is
expected.
- Public Hearing - 2:00 P.M.
This is a hearing for public input whether there should be weight
limits placed on
E Avenue from Highway 35 to 164th Street because of the heavy truck
traffic,
which deteriorates the road.
- Call for Road Bonds
- Committee Reports – reserves time for commissioners to
share information with other commissioner from meetings, etc.
- Official’s Reports. County Official’s file reports on
the receipts that their office took in the preceding month.
- Public Comment - Reserved for a concerned individual to
address the board. Anyone not on the agenda is limited to 5 minutes.
- Mail and/or Emergency Business – reserved for the board
to look at and address the mail. Also a time for the board to address
emergency business if something would surface that would require immediate
action and be an emergency in nature.
