Mr. Gifford will be
presenting a resolution for the Board to adopt approving the transfer of the
cable franchise from Telepartners to Cable One.

Dan Bloomfield – Drainage Ditch on Road 37
Mr.
Bloomfield has requested an opportunity to address the board regarding the
opening of a ditch on Road 37 North of Jackson.

Mike Birkley – Tube
Mr. Birkley is
addressing the board regarding the installation of a tube across a creek.

These tort
claims have been filed on behalf of the above named people and are on the agenda
for the Board to formally table pending an investigation by our insurance
company.

Open Gravel Bids – 2:00 p.m.
The board will
open the bids for gravel for the coming year.

Heating and Cooling – Basement – Pat Stingley
Ms. Stingley
requested the opportunity to address the board regarding the heating and cooling
in the basement of the Courthouse.

Sale of Old Shop
The board has
accepted a bid, but is waiting for the deal to close. The 45 days
will be up soon and a decision needs to be made as to what to do if the sale
does not go through.

Bond Issue for Jackson-Hubbard Road
This is a
discussion with an example of the what the bonds would look like if the board
bonded this project until the state/federal funds become available.
17.
NIRMA Resolution
Dakota County is
part of the NIRMA insurance pool for our insurance coverage. The
Board of Directors has sent a proposed change to all member counties.
