1.  Call to Order – 1:30 p.m.

Approve Minutes of June 20, 2005

 

2.  1:35 p.m.  Pat Foust- sell the present 911 system and apply the funds to the communications project.

 

3.  1:40 p.m.  Request to advertise for bids for new motor grader with option to trade in old motor grader

 

4.  Approve the County's audit year ending 2003/04 conducted by Romans Weimer.

 

5.  Planning and Zoning members fee for attending P &  Z meeting.  The Planning and

     Zoning Commission has asked to receive a fee for attending each meeting.

 

6.  2:00 p.m.   Open Public Hearing on approval/disapproval of Towing Regulations to be added to the Ag Zoning Regulations.

      All proponents for the passage of the regulations   will be invited to address the board.

       All opponents for the passage or amendments of the regulations will be invited to address the board.

       All individuals of neutral position will be invited to address the Board.

       The chair will close the Public Hearing.

 

A Resolution to approve the towing regulations or recommendations for changing them will be considered and/or approved.

 

7.   2:30 p.m.  Tom Lynch and Scott McLinden - A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FOR THE ISSUANCE BY THE COUNTY OF DAKOTA, IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA OF NOT TO Exceed $60,000,000 of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds to Finance the Construction and Acquisition of Plant and Facilities and Equipment suitable for use as dry mill corn-processing ethanol plant and not to EXCEED $10,000,000 OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS TO FINANCE THE CONSTRUCTION AND ACQUISITION OF PLANT AND FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT SUITABLE FOR USE FOR SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL BOTH AS A PART OF AN INDUSTRIAL AND MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN CONNECTION WITH A LEASE OR LOAN TO SIOUXLAND ETHANOL, LLC, AND AUTHORIZING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSAL TO ISSUE SUCH BONDS"

 

8.       Jail Project - A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES BONDS (PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT SOURCE), SERIES 2005, OF THE COUNTY OF DAKOTA, IN THE STATE OF NEBRASKA, IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,300,000) FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR A JAIL/CORRECTIONAL FACILITY AND EQUIPPING AND FURNISHING SUCH FACILITY; DIRECTING THE APPLICATION OF THE PROCEEDS OF SAID BONDS; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES TO PAY THE SAME; RESERVING THE RIGHT TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT FROM OTHER SOURCES; PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF THE BONDS; AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF THE BONDS TO THE PURCHASER; AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF BOND PROCEEDS.

 

9.  Resolution Dakota County Correctional facilities and other Finance Documents and agreements.
