Homer South Bridge Project.

* Resolution to reduce the
Speed Limit on
Fiddler Creek Road from 50 to 35
when approaching Homer’s Village limits from the
west.
* Audit of
courthouse Communications - Brenda Shald from
Brenda Shald &
Associates presented the
idea to the board in their October 24th meeting to contract her
company to review all the County’s communications services to see if the
county could save any money. The Board is expected to proceed with this or
not. The concern of the board was that the county would be obligated to
contract with Brenda Shald & Associates for a
two year period if the county implemented her recommendations if they choose
to do something, thus eliminating any local companies from performing the
same service.

Appoint a Board Member as a representative on the NE Nebr. Area Agency
on
Aging. William Engel is presently the Representative.
* Chair to sign
Certification of Highway Superintendent.
*Flex Plan – The
county is considering changing what company
administers
the County’s Flex Plan (Section 125). AFLAC presently
administers the plan and consideration is to
contract
Three River’s
Benefit to administer it.
